The main event hosted by the First Friday team is the gathering at Harkins Theater on the first Friday of each month, September through May (on holiday weekends, we meet on the 2nd Friday). This is the time when women and men who are experts in their field share proven ways to navigate all types of life’s daily challenges.

What should you expect at a First Friday event? Women begin arriving by 10:30, so if you have a special place you would like to sit in the theater, arrive early. Promptly at 11:00am, you will be welcomed and have the chance to win incredible gifts and services provided by local businesses. If the featured speaker is also an author, you may purchase books and have them signed after the event. They make great gifts – so come with your gift list for yourselves and others!
