Welcome to the First Friday website. Consider this your personal invitation to receive a hope and help with challenges you face every day, through

the once-a-month main First Friday event,
resources from our speakers and authors, and
the “HandUp” financial re-gifting program.

From September through May (except for holidays, then we meet on the 2nd Friday), local women of all ages and in all seasons of life, gather at Harkins Theatre in the Southlake Town Center to hear experts in their field give proven, practical ways to navigate life’s daily challenges. Attend with friends and make it a girl’s day out, or come alone. Either way, everyone is welcome.

It is easy in our culture to live a life well below the way we were meant to live. With all the ways we pour out our time, work and friendship, we forget to refill ourselves…so we actually have something to pour out for others.

How do we make time to refuel? We take time. For one hour a month, utilize First Friday as your personal filling station. Whether you are married, single, divorced, feel down-and-out, or are celebrating life, you will find resources at the events and on the website, to help you live life to your God-given potential.

Come as you are, from your workout or work, and you will be welcomed whether you attend alone or make this your special day out with friends.

First Friday is hosted by local women who have been the recipients of hope and help from God, through other women, and want to pass that along to you. Come see what it’s all about!
